Clara’s Dream A Jazz Nutcracker

Performed to sold-out audiences since its premiere in December 2000, this high-voltage adaptation of Tchaikovsky's fairy tale ballet The Nutcracker is a uniquely American jazz tap celebration.

MaD Theatricals has transformed the treasured masterpiece into a percussive dance party for the whole family. Virtuosic tappers dance the enchanted story of the "Jazz Nut" with tap styles from Irish and African to Bebop, Latin and Lindyhop. Add the swinging Paul Arslanian jazz sextet, and like magic, Clara's Dream comes to life as an effervescent new classic with rhythm and pizazz
